Design Research & Analysis
We help organisations understand which problem truly needs to be solved, for whom, and in what context, so that investments in software, data, and AI deliver predictable value.
Why Design Research & Analysis
Many digital initiatives start with building, while it is still unclear which problem actually needs to be solved. Stakeholders hold different assumptions, goals are insufficiently sharp, and value is only evaluated after the fact. This leads to delays, rework, and solutions that have less impact than expected.
Design Research & Analysis brings structure to this. By gaining insight into practice, decision-making, and stakeholder needs, a shared understanding of the problem emerges alongside clear parameters for subsequent choices. Direction is determined before investments are made, and risks become visible early.
How we approach this
We start by sharpening the question: what needs to change, for whom, and why? Together, we map risks, assumptions, and involved stakeholders. Based on that, we determine a focused research approach suited to the context.
We then gather insights through interviews, workshops, and targeted surveys. We analyse patterns, combine perspectives, and translate findings into concrete frameworks such as personas, user journeys, and clear requirements. This creates a solid foundation on which design and realisation can build with focus.
Signals
Do you recognise the situations below? Then it is time to deploy Design Research & Analysis.
The wrong problems are being solved
Technology addresses symptoms while the underlying cause persists. This creates apparent progress without genuine improvement.
Stakeholders are not aligned
Different interests and perspectives lead to unclear priorities and delays in decision-making.
Value is tested after the fact
Only after delivery does it become clear whether a solution is actually used or has impact. Course corrections then require additional time and budget.
