As part of our services, we process personal data. We may have received this data from you directly, for example via our website, email, telephone or app. In addition, we may obtain your personal data in the context of our services from third parties (for example your employer). With this privacy policy, we inform you about how we handle this personal data.
1. About FIDDS
FIDDS helps organisations succeed by becoming data-driven. The various Business Units within FIDDS Group each have their own specialism in converting Data into Business Value.
Your privacy is of great importance to us. We therefore comply with applicable privacy legislation. This means that your data is safe with us and our partners and that we and our partners always use it with care. We will never sell your personal data to third parties. In this privacy policy, we inform you about how we handle your personal data.
2. Personal data we process
Which personal data we process depends on the specific service and circumstances. It often involves (part of) the following data:
- Name and address details;
- date and place of birth or age;
- gender;
- contact details (email addresses, phone numbers) and name and position of contact persons;
- CV;
- emergency contact details (name, address details, phone number and relationship status);
- copy of identity document (only if necessary);
- bank account number;
- information about previous education and positions (in the context of a job application);
- information about your activities on our website, IP address, internet browser and device type.
3. Purposes and legal bases for processing
In some cases, we process personal data to comply with a legal obligation, but usually we do so to deliver our services. There may also be a legitimate interest in processing personal data, such as in the case of a recruitment procedure.

- invoicing and collection.
We may contact you to request feedback on services we have provided or for market or research purposes. If you do not appreciate this, you can exercise your rights as described below.
4. Applicants
We would like to draw the attention of applicants to the following. In a job application, we never ask for your national identification number, religious beliefs, passport photo or a copy of an identity document. If relevant, this will come up later in the application process.
Applications are kept for the duration of the procedure and then destroyed (usually after 3 months). With explicit consent, an application can be kept for up to 12 months.
5. Disclosure to third parties
For our services, we may use third parties (processors or sub-processors). We enter into written processing agreements with these parties in which compliance with the GDPR is established.
Personal data is only shared when necessary or legally required. Public messages via social media are visible to third parties; therefore, please send sensitive information through other channels.
6. Processing within the EEA
Personal data is in principle only processed within the European Economic Area, unless otherwise agreed or legally permitted under appropriate safeguards.
7. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. Employees and third parties are bound by confidentiality and are adequately instructed about the GDPR.
8. Retention periods
Personal data is not kept longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless statutory retention periods apply.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, restriction, deletion and portability of your personal data, insofar as this does not conflict with legal obligations. You can also object to processing.
10. Complaints
If you have complaints about the processing of personal data, you can contact us. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
11. Personal data incidents
In the event of a data breach, we will inform you without delay if this is likely to have negative consequences for your privacy. If necessary, we will report the incident to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
12. Changes
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy. The most recent version is always available on our website.
