As office manager, you are responsible for keeping everything in the office running smoothly. From administration and communication to organising appointments and events, you handle it all. With your proactive attitude and independence, you know exactly what is needed to support the organisation.

What you will do

  • General office organisation: You manage daily office operations, such as mail and email handling, inventory management and arranging facilities.
  • Management support: You support the director by organising meetings and coordinating complex appointments.
  • Communication: You serve as the first point of contact for internal and external contacts and ensure smooth communication within the company.
  • Administrative tasks: You carry out various administrative tasks, including part of the financial and HR administration and maintaining and processing data.
  • Project management: You support various projects within the organisation and monitor progress and follow-up.
  • Event organisation: You are responsible for organising company meetings and events.

What you bring

  • At least a completed BSc degree, preferably in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Management or Office Management.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • You are self-reliant, proactive and solution-oriented.
  • You work accurately and punctually, with an eye for agreements and processes.
  • You are proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.

  • Independence: You can work independently, take initiative and know how to set priorities.
  • Strong communicator: You are able to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders.
  • Connector: You serve as a link within the organisation and know how to bring together different departments and people.
